Private Jets brings efficient speed to fleet with addition of aircraft

Oklahoma-based company adds Socata TBM-850 to fleet

BETHANY (March 30, 2017) – Oklahoma-based air charter company Private Jets Inc. is providing its customers with a more efficient way to zip around the country with the addition of a new aircraft to its fleet.

Company officials announced they have obtained the certificate for a 2007 Socata TBM-850. The turbo-prop is considered the fastest single-engine airplane in production, officials said. It will be based at Private Jets headquarters at Wiley Post Airport in Bethany.

“This aircraft adds some nice flexibility to our fleet,” said Eric Wells, president and chief operating officer of Private Jets. “It’s great for customers who want to get to their destination quickly while saving money on fuel costs.”

With room for two crew and four passengers, the TBM-850 is one of the smaller airplanes in the Private Jets fleet. However, it doesn’t hold back on speed. Wells said the aircraft can typically complete a 500-mile trip just as quickly as some larger jets, but while using only half the fuel.

The TBM-850 features music jacks and USB ports in the cabin, and an ample baggage compartment.

“It’s a great aircraft for the corporate traveler who may need to fly only a small number of executives, but wants to watch the bottom line and save on fueling expenses,” Wells said.

The TBM-850 is the 16th aircraft in Private Jets current fleet.

Private Jets aircraft range in size from those seating three passengers and suitable for quick flights to regional destinations, to jets with room for nine and international capabilities.

The company aims to serve clients interested in business, leisure or emergency travel, and also offers empty-leg flights for travelers with more flexible schedules. Jets are available for charter 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
