Charter Management

 Charter Your Aircraft

What We Do

  • We provide transparent economics to the Private Jet or Turbo Prop owner

  • We provide you with an opportunity to generate revenue with your aircraft in turn subsidizing your cost of ownership

  • We provide you with a comprehensive flight department to professionally operate your valuable asset

  • We operate your aircraft on our charter certificate with a revenue split or on a net hourly rate

  • We provide you with complete access to all of our purchasing power through industry wide contacts including fuel contracts, flight handling, insurance, maintenance, hangar, training, and exclusive airport options.  We provide all regulatory compliance.

Our program is for

  • Owners who want to generate revenue with their aircraft, and lower their cost of operating an aircraft.

  • Owners who wish to obtain the additional tax benefits available only for charter aircraft.

  • Owners who wish to increase the value of their aircraft.

  • Owners who have a decreasing need for their aircraft, but do not want to sell or can’t sell.

You don’t have to go through the FAA Certification Process for a new operator, (usually takes 12-24 months, depending on the FAA Office issuing the certification) including 25 hours of proving runs in the aircraft. This cost can become astronomical.

You don’t have to train, qualify, and maintain the FAA required management personnel. Each charter certificate must have a Director of Operations, Chief Pilot and Director of Maintenance.

You don’t have to deal with the FAA. We always strive for 100% compliance with the regulations at all times.

What We Provide

  • Operations Specifications– This is generated and approved by the FAA and issued to Private Jets Inc. It is also about 100 pages and details what Private Jets Inc. can and cannot do when operating under FAR 135.

  • Weight and Balance Program – This Private Jets Inc written, FAA Approved program details how we comply with FAA weight and balance procedures and regulations.

  • Canadian Operations Specifications – These pages are necessary when operating on an originating charter flight out of Canada.

Background Checks

  • TSA Criminal History Records Check– This is a requirement that calls for each pilot to receive a fingerprint based criminal check. This is a 10-year check.

  • FAA Certificate Enforcement Check– This checks each pilot’s FAA records for enforcement actions within the last 5 years.

  • DOT National Driver Registry Check– This checks for any drivers license suspensions and revocations.

  • Air Carrier Records Check– This check is only applicable if a pilot has worked for another carrier (135, 121, 125) within the last 5 years.

Computerized Maintenance Tracking

Each aircraft’s maintenance status will be tracked in-house via a computer system and Private Jets Inc. will provide notification of upcoming maintenance inspections.

Year-Round Dispatch Support

Private Jets Inc. will provide telephone dispatch and flight following 24/7/365. In addition, Private Jets’ management personnel are available on-call 24 hours.

  • Aircraft Paperwork – We will generate and make available to the flight crew all necessary paperwork required by the regulations, such as: Discrepancy Forms, Daily and Monthly Duty Forms, Weight and Balance Forms, Maintenance Status Reports, and any other paperwork that the crew might need.

  • Pilot Folder – Private Jets Inc. will create and keep a pilot folder on each crewmember. This folder is generally about 75 pages and will contain information about the crew member, such as: Resume, Certificate and Medical, Company Training Forms, Assignments to Duty, Background Check Information, Checking Forms, Check Airman Letters, Duty Time Information, and any other pertinent information.

  • Pilot Service – Private Jets Inc. keeps a database on all of our qualified crewmembers. This means you are never without a qualified crewmember for your aircraft.

  • Access to Other Aircraft – When your aircraft is added to our certificate, you will instantly gain access to our fleet. Think of it as a private club with exclusive access to a select group of members. If your aircraft is busy, down, or you need additional support, you can call on our fleet of 20 (and growing) aircraft.

Tax Information

The tax laws that govern aircraft differ between the charter aircraft (FAR 135) vs. aircraft that are not on a certificate (FAR 91). Typically, aircraft that are on a charter certificate are considered a for-profit business and qualify for tax relief benefits.

By converting your aircraft into a “BUSINESS”, you can enjoy additional write-offs that are unavailable when operating under FAR 91 only. This is in addition to the revenue potential.
